Our Story

Hello there! I'm Brianne Radlinger, proudly representing the fifth generation of our farming legacy in the charming Butternut, WI. Our story begins in 1993 when my father, John, took a leap of faith and acquired our cherished farm.

Our journey into the world of cattle started with a humble herd of four crossbred cows, a mix of neighbors' generosity and a touch of local charm from a cattle enthusiast. Over the years, we've nurtured and expanded our herd into the thriving community it is today.

In 2009, we embraced the art of artificial insemination to enhance the genetics of our precious herd. A strategic move that allows us to meticulously select bulls, tailoring their attributes to the specific needs of our cows and heifers. This approach has not only improved marbling in butcher animals but also enhanced the overall quality of udders and feet, among other benefits. What makes it even more special is that both my dad and I are proficient in breeding, ensuring a seamless and effective process.

Presently, our picturesque herd is predominantly composed of majestic Black Angus cattle, with a touch of the distinctive Hereford breed blended in for added charm. In 2020, we took the leap into offering our exceptional beef for sale, providing options for bulk purchases or individual cuts. With cuts available year-round and a springtime butchering tradition, we strive to bring the best to your table.

Our mission is simple yet profound: cultivating sustainable and healthy cattle that not only nourish our own family but yours as well. As a family deeply rooted in service, we proudly carry the badge of a veteran-owned business. My dad, a Navy veteran from the early 1980s, laid the foundation for duty, a legacy that my brother Jake, an Army veteran, proudly continued until his return home in November 2023.

Join us on this heartfelt journey of family, farming, and the finest beef you'll ever taste!
